You always wanted to sail, to share in the excitement of marine adventures and life at sea. Now you can make that dream come true!
For now fourty years, GCAL (Groupe de Croisière Au Large) has organized courses to teach sailing enthusiasts the basic skills of yachting.
Let GCAL take you on a weekend outing or for a longer cruise.

Based in Ouistreham, we navigate year in, year out in the Channel, on the Iroise, North, Baltic and Irish Seas, and off Scotland. We go out sailing year round on the association's cruising yachts and offer courses in both theory and practice, covering an array of different experiences and techniques (e.g. pilotage, position plotting, coastal and offshore sailing, racing).

We're sailing to Danish Wadden Sea Islands this summer, with extensive enjoyments in the West Frisian Island along the cruise. A stop is planned in Lowestoft, Suffolk, the Easternmost UK port of call .
We are also proposing a sail to London, where we'll moor right at the foot of Tower Bridge! Why not join us for one of our two week-long cruises ?
